This is just my comment (from an independent voice) on the criticism the democrats have been receiving for the low congress approval rating. Fact: the president will always veto anything he won’t agree with . So, obviously, the questions we should ask are not for the democrats, but the republicans in the house and senate. They are the ones we need to get that 2/3 or whatever vote to cancel the president’s veto. Is this not obvious? Why are the democrats, and not the republicans getting asked the questions like, ”why can’t congress stop the president and his war?”
Obviously, we need to be asking these questions to the republicans who’s votes we need to stop the war, or at least ask both sides why they can’t get the votes. Is it just me? or is this such a basic overlooked fact. (Let me say it again) - the president will always veto anything he won’t agree with. The democrats vote 100% for timetables for withdrawal, or at least plans for timetables. The questions on why congress can’t stop the war need to be asked of the republicans in the senate.

An incompetent president, a strained military, and on Sunday, Cheney gave a speech beating the drums for war with Iran. Say no to war with Iran: Contact Your Congressman. Read this article on the real reasons Cheney wants yet another uncalled for war: Cheney – War Profiteer. The Bush W. team’s refusal to employ real diplomacy on any level is not just embarassing but dangerous. They have no respect in the international community, and have created more terrorists thany they have stopped. Let’s put an end to their rampant abuse of power and send a message with your vote in ‘08.

Bush sent a clear message with his veto of the children’s health care bill. He doesn’t support abortion, but when the kids are born he’s not going to give them healthcare. He can waste a half trillion dollars killing thousands of innocent kids in the crossfire of a civil war we are not part of, but can’t spend a measly $50 billion for kids healthcare. This is just another installment in the legacy of George W., he will go down has one of the most villainous presidents the United States has ever had.

I am currently re-constructing my website; http://edsartworkshop.com, in the meantime, I am using my blog here has an oppurtunity to display some of my work that is not featured on the current version of my site.
This is a piece done a number of years ago (age 17) that I call:”Two-Faced Infinity”. At the top you’ll see a man on the moon in an Elvis costume (not to well drawn, lol) and to the right a wrestling ring. This refers to Andy Kauffman, during the time I was painting this I watched a documentary on him. A fascinating individual, who in my opinion brought the ideals of the Dada art movement into the realm of comedy. The two-faced infinity is the face in the middle on two bubbles held togother by arms from the sideways figure eight. The purple curtains were in the room I inhabited when I lived at my parent’s house. The fish; well I think fish are just interesting to draw, lol.
