Rangers’ Milton Bradley Freaks Out, Proves He Has No Control of His Temper

June 12, 2008 · 2 Comments

Last night in Major League Baseball news,…. Royals announcer Ryan Lefebvre made some comments about Rangers’ players Josh Hamilton and Milton Bradley. First saying that Hamilton is a player who turned his life around, is having a great year, and baseball embraced him; forgiving his controversial past. (basically, he spent his $4 million dollar signing bonus on crack). Then saying that Milton Bradley could learn from Hamilton because Bradley clearly still has no control of his temper. I guess Bradley was upset by the comments (which is ridiculous, an announcer? You’re upset at an ANNOUNCER?) and tried to confront Lefebvre, storming up towards the press box in a furious tirade before being stopped by the general manager and manager of the Rangers.

Okay, Bradley you proved you have control of your temper, NOT. You proved that you have no control, that the slightest thing can set you off, to the point where you were intent on intimidating and doing God knows what to an ANNOUNCER, a frickin’ ANNOUNCER for gosh sake. What would have happened had you made it to Lefebvre in your furious state of anger? Seriously, what would have happened? I’ll tell you what would have happened; you would of walked right into a two-week suspension. You really blew it big time Milton Bradley. Later he cried about it saying “it really wears on you.” (the negative comments). Well boo-hoo Bradley I guess that means if you were upset by it you should seek the man out and beat the snot out of him. That shows restraint, patience, and calmness,… NOT. Even if Lefebvre was completely wrong you MADE him right. Good Job genius. I don’t feel sorry at all for you; you get paid millions to play a kids game, and then cry about how you can’t handle the pressure. You’re weak and worthless.

Why don’t you come confront me now? You wanna fight? Can you handle the pressure? Are you gonna cry? Go to hell Milton Bradley, you frickin’ uncontrollable maniac. You know how embarrassing it is that your general manager and manager had to restrain you from trying to get into a fight with an ANNOUNCER? You should be suspended. You DO have an out of control temper OBVIOUSLY. You need to apologize to Lefebvre, not the other way around. That would show that perhaps you do indeed have some measure of dignity.

I dunno man. We can all agree that MB is a jerk, but should he be compared to an almost-convicted drug addict? Not exactly the same.

We tackle that today at Gritty&Clutch:

I agree, what Lefebvre said was way out of line. He later specified saying he sees no other player verbally spar with fans and umpires and other players nearly as much as Bradley. Again, I agree that Lefebvre may have been out of line. But after MB charged up towards the booth after the game, he made the comments correct unfortunately. It would of been so easy for MB to say to reporters, ‘I heard the comments, and If I had anger issues, I’d come after you Lefebvre, but I am a gentleman and forgive your short-sighted comments’ or something like that. He didn’t HE CHARGED AFTER THE MAN. Ridiculous.
